Our Hammered Tongs are an artistic and modern design for a traditional gift. Handcrafted by our artisans, these tongs are constructed from silver and copper. As with any of our plated pieces, the silver is applied to a thickness at least seven times the industry specification. Distinct from our Asparagus Tongs, these tongs are larger and wider and can be used for ice or other large items. To design the tongs, our artisans begin by hammering the silver into shape. Next, half-spheres are welded to the sides of the tongs to create the artistic design. Finally, the tongs are polished to a radiant shine for an added touch of elegance.
