Taking over dozens of hours to create from start to finish, each part of the fish’s body is made separately then connected via a simple rod clasp. Constructing each part separately gives the fish a lifelike range of motion. The head of the fish shines brilliantly and each eye is made with seashell, adding a realistic translucence. Luckily, this fish has been caught—it bears a hook in its mouth that also doubles as a key ring. Our artisans have paid amazing attention to each detail of its design, from the engraving of the scales to the swinging motion of the tail fin. The result is a bottle opener that is not only usable but also beautiful.
